Idk how to read it or what it reads, but Connor is rated 1 above Carr right now in QBR. Thats gotta be good right?
Where are you getting this? I see him at #28.
And Derek Carr is #29
So if I understand the metric correctly, YAC would hurt the rating correct? For example, if a wr turns a six yd slant into an 80 yd td, the QB gets a portion of the credit. My understanding is that a productivity percentage is assigned to each play. Seems like it could be subjective to me. It also looks like it benefits duel threat QBs, more.
Is there an office building in Connecticut full of evaluators who rate each play in college football?
See, but then there's this one: http://espn.go.com/college-football...t/collegeQuarterbackRating/year/2013/group/80
...where Wood is #29, Mariota is 28, and Taj Boyd is 26. Carr is #80.
Sucks to be Logan Thomas
so why have the QBR? what is the purpose?
And to think VT fans were calling him Logan "Heisman" post-2011  He's somehow getting worse and worse. 5/26...
