Rigged. Choreographed. Whatever.
Supposedly the reporter was told he wasn't supposed to come beyond a certain point and he went against orders.
Dang right DBT. If my bestest bud says it's rigged, then it's rigged. If he says Hawk is the bestest coach evar, than you better get with the program mister.
You have a bestest bud?
That's right ol bestest bud. You tellem buddy ol pal. I'm with ya all the way. HAWK LOVE! If you don't like Hawk, the terrorist win!
His face when he is running into the endzone and he reaches up towards the press box is classic. Talk about simple jack...
... I don't think I like this.. As if the media doesn't hate us enough...
that was pretty funny, calling it a textbook hit.
Well, I was wrong. It wasn't staged. Just listened to Klatt. He said Knox was not supposed to run beyond the 40 due to Ralphies lack of training. So, when he got to the 40, BAM!
Oh. Well that's good to hear.
Wow. I thought you were joking when you came back at me so strong with your second post.
How the hell does Klatt have more credibility with you than I do? Didn't you say that he's putting on a big act to make a name for himself in the media?
Knox was on the ticket this AM and was not pleased about being hit. Said that he has run with Ralphie several times like this and was at least 30 yards from her when hit. He asked the Ralphie runner manager, or whatever her title is, and was given an excuse that the guy was new.
No matter which of the explanations I've heard, that was a bush league move by the Ralphie handler. He lined the guy up from at least 20 yards away to give him a cheap shot. If Knox doesn't turn and see the guy at the last minute, that could have been a devastating hit. I hope that guy feels pretty awesome about himself, handing out cheap shots to middle-aged sideline reporters...
Note to Knox: quit running with ralphie.
The Ralphie Run is not and should not be your personal moment in the sun.
The only thing better than seeing the ralphie handler deliver the school of hard Knox would have been no Knox at all.
In spite of what he may say, I still contend it was set-up. The way he mugged to the camera at the end convinced me that he was anything but upset about it.
Probably embarrassed. He knew he wasnt supposed to do that.
Knox had made comments in prior years about Ralphie IV not being very fast (she definitely slowed down in her older years) and how easy it was to run Ralphie. He is also really obnoxious and he got what deserved.
If you're going to claim to have run with Ralphie, don't take a 20-yard shortcut you ***** bitch.
This guy has a reputation of saying whatever he needs to say to get access to the sidelines and Ralphie. He was told not to go past a specific point, and got jacked because he disobeyed (as usual). Granted, he prolly should have never been allowed to run in the first place, but damn! he deserved it IMO. No (real) harm, no foul.
Looked more like Johnny Knoxville on Saturday. At first I didn't like it but the more I think about it the more I'm glad they laid his ass out! Don't **** with Ralphie or her Posse! -
Adam from Rivals said this guy had run with Ralphie before, and was warned not to on Saturday. All the guy had to do was run behind her and he would have been fine. The path he took turning the corner could have been dangerous to himself and the runners. He got way to close imo.
He deserved it. He ran where he wasn't supposed to. Maybe now he won't try it anymore. And yes, he should be running behind Ralphie and not taking shortcuts.
The clip just made the local 6:30 CBS news here in San Francisco.
I thought it was hilarious to watch! Loved seeing him get tee'd up.
I tailgate where the handlers park before games, if I can remember and I'm not too drunk:thumbsup: , I'll try to catch one of them before the Baylor game to see what they say about it..
