Real GM P12 Preview

Just hoping for a tourny bid?

If we're just hoping for a bid then so is Stanford and Utah.

Hanner is one of the best out there. His stuff has been discussed a lot lately - especially in the Furd thread.

I think that "just hoping for a tourney bid" is a bit of a stretch, but other than that, it was fairly spot on.

And just think, we were "just hoping (and praying) for a tourney bid in 2010 & 2011.

I don't understand the UCLA love, at all. Same with Stanford.

The only thing not to like about Furd is Dawkins, that is a solid squad and despite the player they lost should improve and make the tourney.

UCLA could take several steps back from last year's team and still be very good, Alford may not be the right guy there but he's a good coach, go back and watching his in-game adjustments against us last year.

The Dawkins problem is a big one though. As for UCLA, not getting Ocetus and Bolden were pretty big blows and I think they'll take a significant step back without Anderson, the Wear twins, and Adams.

no mention of our incoming frosh or that we lost fletcher for a big stretch too. yes, we need a number of players other than josh to elevate their games but i think that will happen, at least for some of them.

i think ucla will struggle a bit, at least early, they lost a lot of experience and while the frosh are talented, may take some time to mesh it together.
