THIS is what I think CU should change to...a mix of new/old school. Your thoughts?
I changed the stripes on the away jersey....
Me likey! :smile2:
me rikey too
and as an aside rb.. karma sent
Nice because they're basic.
Looks great, how about an all black alternate? I could do without ever seeing the all white look or gold pants on the road again.
Interesting... one color on the front and another on the back. Might just catch on. :smile2:
they look vaguely familiar...
they should....they are nothing more than a subtle mix of our 1990 uni's, early 2000's uni's and today (pant stripe minus the silver geometric shapes) and the two silver arm stripes on each home jersey sleeve. the "COLORADO" is larger, white yet slightly italicized, the numbers aren't italicized....
I really love these and would prefer this look over any of the fashion fwd stuff nike has been pumping out.
those look sharp man. really like them.
Looks good from my house! Somewhat of a retro design to them. Send NIKE your resume, mention this web-site with our comments. Then if you hit the big time with them you can send us all free jerseys that are your latest creation! Good Luck!
Great Idea! I like this design. It is sharp, straight forward and to the point. It won't need to be changed much over time as fads come and go.
gold helmet, white jersey wtih the black numeral, black pant is the best look in sport.
too bad Bohn and Hawk have screwed that up.
LOVE THEM! This is the look I want. Perfect. Make it happen.
I love this look. Very well done, Ruff. Can you please send this to the AD and let them know we're tired of the stupid sh!t they've been doing to the uniforms the last 10 years?
thanks in advance.
Barney's threads were pretty sweet: 99-05. simple, classic. it's only the last 3 years we've looked stupid....in more ways than one.
Nice... I still prefer the big block COLORADO as in the late 80s. That reminds me of the team that had a swagger about it.
Total agreement here. As stated earlier in this thread with all black alternate.
Ruffbuff, I know professionals usually don't give up their secrets, but what program do you use to create these uni templates?? I'd love to try it out...
I like them, too. I would even add a swoosh for $10m / yr.
i use a combination of Illustrator, Photoshop and CorelDraw
I vote YES!!
So what is with the love of all the italics? To me it just says "soft".
That, and the huge shoulder pads we used to wear, and longer sleeves.
another revision (NIKE swoosh added)
This is blog worthy. Fo sho
Ruff, I think a little commentary/write up to accompany this is a great blog entry for you and for the site. It would be a featured entry, at least IMO, and then be more visible to the search engines, etc. Just a thought.
