Saturday Games Thread 8/30/14

Do the voters have the guts to move Ohio State down closer to 10?

They should. That rank was sent in before the Braxton injury, so it was inflated versus where voters would have put OSU after the new **** came to light.

Defense still looks like an issue and I didn't see a lot of playmaker potential from QB. That looks like a team that's around #15 if I was ranking.

Indiana State could lose to Indiana but the Cabral defense has held Indiana to 21 points deep into the 4th quarter. Be warned if you're tuning into ESPNEWS to see the end of this, Dan Hawkins is on the call.

I like how ESPN decided to air international basketball in the middle of CFB's opening weekend.

I'm not gonna say where any team is gonna be later, it's hard to tell early. Man there is so much pairity, it's ridiculous. It works itself out later with the athletes and what not, but an undefeated team, idk.

Virginia has the potential to be pretty good. Might not see it in the Win column because they have a brutal schedule.

Not sure what schedule you're looking at because the ACC Coastal is the definition of mediocre. For a halfway decent team that schedule has the potential for 8 wins.

Duff, it's possible this game could be a complete aberration for UCLA but UVA gift-wrapped 3 TD's for them in the first half and if Johns had started the game UVA probably would have won.

After reminding myself of UVA's schedule, it would be a miracle to win more than 4.

I still think UCLA will be just fine, but I always considered them as lower top 10, not playoff bound. UCLA won't be playing anymore games that start at 9am their time over 2,000 miles from home in brutal humidity against a QB who is not on any film.

UVA misses all of the patsies from the Atlantic. No Wake, no Cuse, no NCSU, no BC. Coastal is much tougher at the bottom and @ FSU and Louisville are the cross division games.

I guess that I would buy that excuse if Virginia was a decent team. They were 2-10 last year.

Damn I hope our guys wake up this week cause even Cal worries me. Flukes u can't read that ****bag.

Yup there definitely looks like there's alot of parity out there. Which makes our situation all the more depressing.
