Scott One of 22 Players Invited For Team USA Camp

Great showcase for Josh and opportunity to develop his game against some great competition.

With Tad being one of the assistants, I'm confident he will be used properly to show off his game.

Watching the FIBA U19 final right now - US vs. Croatia - it's easy to see why Jayson Tatum is next season's #1 ranked recruit. Swanigan, Brunson, Evans, a whole bunch of guys we'll be hearing a lot about soon.

On ESPN U right now. Noon Sunday, that is.

EDIT: Tied at 67, OT. The Croats have several future NBA players on the court, led by Luka Bozic, who will be eligible for the '18 draft.

Jalen Brunson (Villanova recruit) and Jayson Tatum (St Louis HS kid) took over in OT. 79-71 final, US.

WSU has two senior guards trying out for the games. 2 coaches with connections with WSU too. Cool to see Boyle back with Turg.

WTH is Anthony Randolph doing on this roster. Hopefully he doesn't beat out Josh for a slot. Either way, hopefully Scott will gain some valuable experience going head to head in practice against a versatile big with NBA experience.

Who is the 8' tall dude in the top middle of the photo? :wow:

Isaac Haas. Purdue soph. He's listed at 7'2", but he looks bigger if the other guy's listed heights are real.

Scott was one of five players cut today, along with Haas, Ricardo Gathers, Malcom Hill and Monte Morris. 16 remain.
