Wow... for the first time in my life, Wikipedia fails me. No entry for "Buffalo Rider" movie; although there is a sparse IMDB entry. It looks like the tagline was: Riding 2000 pounds of revenge! Awesome...

That buffalo kicked the **** out of that Cougar with 1 swift blow, while chomping down on the grass.......marking down a W for this weekend already

That was actually the wolf. The guy, we shall call him Rugged, beat that cougar up so bad she ran away.

I know how these videos were made, jackass. I was asking how they filmed it with the dude getting attacked and whatnot. Also, these episodes are following our season against pac schools. Buffalo vs bear in ep 1 then buffalo vs coug in ep 2. Next week, is the buffalo gonna bang a tree?

I actually watched the whole movie. It's not bad but I'm concerned they might only have enough material for 6 episodes or so. At any rate, I did some research and here's what I was able to find out. The guy who plays Buffalo Jones is a guy named Rick Guinn. Apparently back in the day he was a rodeo star of some kind and his family has a ranch up in Alberta (http://www.boundaryranch.com/menu01/geninfo_01b.html). I also found this in a newspaper article:

Boundary Ranch has a connection with the movies as well: the owner, Rick Guinn, a former rodeo star, also had a brief acting and modelling career. He starred in Buffalo Rider, a 1978 film that dramatizes the true life of Western legend C.J. “Buffalo” Jones, who worked to prevent the extinction of the American buffalo during the 19th-century. ”Guinn landed the role largely because he was the only actor the producers could find who could actually ride a buffalo.”

The article says nothing about where he learned to bare-hand fight cougars. Fail.

we are caring way to much about the How. Let's focus on the What. DUDE PUNCHED A ****ING COUGAR.
