Shae Kelley leaves CU women's basketball team

Timing is everything. And Shae Kelley's timing couldn't be worse. The freshman forward has left the Colorado women's basketball program citing personal reasons, first-year head coach Linda Lappe announced this afternoon.

This hurts quite a bit. Kelley was going to be counted on heavily this season.

"Shae has decided to leave the University of Colorado and move on with her college career," Lappe said. "We wish her the best of luck in the future."

Damn.
 
I just don't understand why CU has been so "snakebit" over the last 5 to 10 years in all sports???? If it weren't for bad luck CU would have no luck. Unreal!!! Being a CU fan, I feel like a friggin' punching bag.
