Sweet. FYI, he's a QB from Tennessee. Dual Threat.
Looks like he was doing well in practice- wonder what the reason for a switch was? (Other than Butch Jones) Nonetheless, welcome aboard!
Too many QB's. A very high rated one was coming in too.
Here´s the thread on Reddit where several Tennessee fans are commenting
Dormandy also enrolled early, so Sheriron was always playing catch up a little.
Awesome!! Which coach made this happen?
That is awesome. He was at the top of my wish list coming out pf school.
That is good news. Too bad he has to sit out.
Great news, sit out this year and have 3 to play.
Again I say
I just got wood reading this.
I'm happy for you too.
The name sounds really familiar. Did we initially recruit this kid?
check out ye old recruiting forum. Was our #1 QB on the board till he chose Tenn.
Check the first few pages of his profile thread.
To be clear, hj's for four stars, zj's for five stars.
He committed to Florida first and got a gator tattoo before ultimately signing with the vols.
me old memory is just as bad as it always was.
Three to play three starting in 2017.
That's great and all, but Montez is in the same exact position. I'm not going to say we shouldn't have taken Jones because we should have. I do wonder if this will have an impact on class balance and team chemistry. I'm not paid to worry about that stuff, though.
I don't understand all the transfer rules. Did he just finish his freshman season at Tenn and redshirted the season? Logic would say that if he redshirted then there is no reason to sit out a season since he transferred. Maybe the rule and my logic don't agree.
We need to turn that gator into a ralphie. @Skidmark, do you do tattoos?
Despite his earlier mistakes, the kid has better sense than that I'm sure.
A quarterback competition involving presumably capable QBs sounds good to me.
Sounds odd around here I know...
Have we heard anything about guys leaving our program? Getting a four star athlete is a good thing but Im concerned about how few scholarships we have to give.
