Which OOC format do you favor?

Seems like an interesting idea...

Ill 7-2-1
Indiana 7-9-3
Iowa 26-12-2
Michigan 2-3-1
Mich St 5-0
Minn 20-29-2
NW 3-1
Ohio St 0-2
Penn St 6-7
Purdue 0-1
Wisc 3-2

That does include bowl games, not reg season as you asked (but Im not bored enough to sort that out)

79-70 overall

Take Iowa out of that and I see a loser! Minnesota owns the Huskers.

Sweet. Sounds like you can look forward to many seasons in the middle of the Big ? pack.

Yep! And I am sure CU will be winning the Pac 16 every year! Good luck with that! Heck good luck winning the Big XII South er I mean Pac 10 East.

So you're saying that I shouldn't trust your university AD site's information? Seriously. I don't really care enough about the Cornchickens to check multiple sources.

Only if you do the same.

Losses against ranked teams
2009. #2 Texas, #12 Okie State
2008. #21 West Virginia, #5 Texas, #15 Missouri, #16 Kansas, #13 Oklahoma State.

Balls in your court.

You can check whatever you want. It all depends on if you are looking for facts or not.

The real question here should be: Does Nebraska want to play Colorado every year once the new conference schedules kick in?

I say the series is dead after the game in Lincoln this year. Nebraska will schedule OOC games to fit their recruiting and financial needs. Playing Colorado will do very little in this regard. If Colorado is smart they better consider the same approach too.

Nebraska might pick up Kansas or Kansas State as a semi regular OOC game, but that's about all I see happening. Games with these schools might happen because of relationships the Nebraska AD has with the Coaches at each school.

After time a contract may be signed to have a home and home series with Colorado, but I cant' see it happening for a long time.

Good Luck in the Pac10! Colorado is going to be challenged for sure.

FIFY (We beat #21 West Virginia in 2008). I also think some more teams we played were ranked at the time we played them if you use different polls like the Cornchicken fans seem to be doing.

Not ownage like 48-18-2

The 1960's - early 1980's were a mere statistical aborration. Things have looked better after the Jimmy Carter administration.

The key point is that that record doesn't mean much over the next couple decades. We're done.

You can dwell on those stats on that 500 mile drive to Lincoln. Because other than you and the other Denver based Husker fans, no one else in your area code cares.

Not sure the point to this. How far back are we going?

For instance, in 2006, you lost to #23 (AP) and #19 (Coaches) Nebraska, 37-14. Why did you leave this off your list? Not sure I can trust your list if I found one exclusion right off the bat.

You're right, lets close this book at 49-18-2 and move on. I cant wait. Good luck to CU in the Pac and getting rid of your crappy coach.

Minnesota used to be a national power back in the early to mid 20th century. They won like 6 national championships. Look it up. Or...

The point is that you aren't going to get away with bombing a CU board with all that chest thumping and get a free pass. So go ahead an type up NU's losses to ranked teams in 2008 and 2009. Let those memories come flooding back. Go ahead and add 2007 and 2006 if you'd like and we'll keep at it until you get depressed enough to quit. We're kinda used being depressed around here.

Well I guess Colorado has historically the better football program than NU since you have played the Big Ten a whole 31 times and have a slight winning percentage against them.

We have played the Big Ten many many more times than you have and for a lot longer period. We were playing Minnesota back when CU's program was in diapers.

Here is our last few games against just Minnesota since 1963 (14 games right there compared to 31 all time Big Ten-CU matchups):

You can't beat NU in any historical category. Don't even try.

Date Site Result NU Rank/Opp Attendance
09/22/1990 Lincoln W 56-0 8/ 76,354

So when are you going to start listing NU's losses to ranked teams? What is a Hokie, anyway?

We lost to 5 ranked teams in 2008 and 2009:

2008:

#4 Missouri
#7 Texas Tech in overtime
#4 Oklahoma

2009:
#13 Virginia Tech
#3 Texas in B12 CCG

We lost to some pretty good teams I suppose.

you don't really understand what a "prefix" is, do you?

like Corn is to Husker is to an analogy for manhandsex.

Va Tech used to be called also "gobblers".....as in fighting turkeys.

My favorite B10 statistical category is number of victories memorialized by the cover of sports illustrated. Did any of the Huskers "catch" that one?
