Simas - anybody know where he landed?

Somebody with connections can check, but I recall that he still has a warrant out in Boulder for the missed court appearance.

Some things you just can't blow off, that's one.

Then in July, Katoa got in an altercation with Aric Goodman (head butt) outside a Boulder club, and Goodman pressed charges. Katoa's probation was violated with the charges. I'd link to the story but it's from the Denver Daily which shall not be named. The article is from 07/19/2010.

I meant the outstanding warrant.
 
Read on a message board that Brady Hoke refused to take him. Hoke's kind of a disciplinarian type.

I still think he's the one with an outstanding warrant in Boulder, unless he managed to clean that up quietly, and when was anything quietly done in Boulder?

Bottom line: where ever he is, Simas did not show up on the Aztec's 2010 roster.
 
Simas was a dog. Ran out of bounds instead of trying for yardage. Rarely if ever blocked down field for run plays. Jogged to get open on busted ays when TH was scrambling. Basically if the play didn't call his number he took a nap. Good riddance. On top of all that, his signature OctopusMan doodles were less than inspiring.
 
I thought dude had great potential and started to show it towards the end of last season, he would be a really good 3rd or 4th option, I'd take him. Every team has their fair share of criminals, why can't we have one?

Third or 4th option? That is selling the dude short. He has enough talent to be a 1st or 2nd for sure.
 
Well since no one knows anything i'll play sherlock here and note that I saw him right after one of the games this year, believe it was ISU

Agree, but they are not going to let him play over Clemmons and PRICH. I also think Simmons will get and possibly earned some good PT next year.
 
Why are we even talking about Simas? He had his chance, he sold his teammates short more than once, he was given his chance, he's gone, let it be. Let's focus on the players who want to be here, who want to get this turned around, and will play with for one another with accountability.
