Simpson averaged 3.89 kills, 2.67 digs, 0.89 blocks and 4.78 points per set as the Buffs upset No. 15 Arizona (3-1) and No. 19 Arizona State (3-2) on the road last weekend. It’s the first time since 2005 that CU has recorded wins against a pair of ranked opponents in the same week.

Another great and earned award for Ms. Simpson!

And, as I'm sure she'd also say,- as with any team sport, an award like this is a team effort, and isn't possible without great help from teammates and coaches.

Taylor has deserved recognition in previous weeks, imo, and not received it. I am very happy for her for receiving this hard earned award.
