Skiing Season Opens with RMISA Alpine Qualifier

    This Monday, January 7, running through Wednesday, January 9, the skiing season opens up with the RMISA Alpine Giant Slalom Qualifier in Eldora, Colo. hosted by the Buffs. Then from January 8th through the 13th, is the Spencer James Nelson Memorial Invitational held in Eldora/Steamboat Springs. The RMISA is the Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Ski Association is the official association for college and university NCAA skiing teams in the Rocky Mountain region. It is comprised of seven NCAA Division I and one NAIA institutions from seven states stretching from Alaska to New Mexico. The members of the RMISA are:

    [​IMG] University of New Mexico
    [​IMG] University of Utah

    Can't speak for Eldora, but the mountains are in much better shape than they were a month ago
