Niece and nephew were getting autographs from Hansen right after game. Nephew gets his, comes over 'Awesome dude' I say. I turn my attention away to focus on my niece, as she is struggling to get Tyler's attention. I look back down. Nephew is gone. No biggie. Walk around the field once...twice...three times.... fourth time. Okay... now I'm panicked. How could I lose him? I have myself, my wife, and my buddy who is very responsible, all on the lookout. 3 adults to 2 kids. How could this happen? Go up the the Argus guy 'Hey - I lost my nephew. I don't know what happened, but he's gone and I can't find him'. Dude gives me the most annoyed look for about 10 seconds before calling on the radio 'Yeah, we have a missing kid.' Gives the name and the clothing he is wearing. Suddenly my phone rings, its my buddy 'Hey, I found him'

Scared the **** out of me. Turned out the the kid had decided to put on his jacket which meant the white jersey I was looking for was meaningless. At least he got a ton of autographs while he was out enjoying himself.

Yes Gate - I don't know what he looks like in a mass of children. The reason I couldn't find him was because after he got Tylers autograph is tossed on a dark jacket, when he was wearing a white jersey.

Anyway - I found it scary and amusing. Kid wasn't freaked out at all, and he spent the time wandering around meeting CU football players.

This is why children should be leashed at all times.

lol- we were in the club level, I took my son to the bathroom and we went to the wrong exit, I said, "I think we're one more section over" to him, he went left, I went right. I turned around and he was no where to be seen. I went into a mild panic, but the security folk were on it in a flash, of course, about 2 minutes after I had lost him, he comes wandering back through the crowd. I feel you pain Dio, I was starting to freak a little...

There is nothing more scary than to lose your kid or your kid loses you. It becomes an instant panic!

My kids didn't wander off when we were out and about, but my younger one liked to scare me by hiding around the house. He even learned to climb up a tree onto the roof. He thought it was funny, but obviously, I didn't.
