BOULDER – The University of Colorado women’s soccer team has earned a Team Academic Award from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) for posting a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
The Buffaloes recorded a 3.23 team GPA during the 2013-14 academic year. It is the third straight year the soccer program has been recognized for its academic achievement with the award and fourth overall since the award was instituted in 1996. Head coach Danny Sanchez has led his teams to seven NSCAA Team Academic Awards.
