Soccer Falls 3-0 To No. 4 Stanford

STANFORD, Calif. – In the final road match of the season, the University of Colorado women’s soccer team fell 3-0 to No. 4 Stanford on Thursday night.

Colorado is now 10-5 overall and 3-3 in the Pac-12 Conference. Stanford improves to 12-1-2 and 4-1-1 in conference play.

“Stanford is very good and deserving of their ranking so I knew today would be a challenge for us,” said Colorado head coach Danny Sanchez. “The big picture we can take some positives from this game. We played well in stretches and I liked our competitiveness through the 90 minutes.”
