Looks like Brie Hooks is still out.
20 minutes in and no score
I guess Brie Hooks is playing according to the live stats
Half time from Berkeley and the score is still tied at 0. Cal leads in shots 3-2.
2nd half is underway
10 minutes into the 2nd half and the score is still tied. Cal leads 4-3 in shots.
Madison Krauser's 3rd goal of the season at 66:43
1-0 Buffs over #9 Cal
80' mark - still up 1-0. Cal twitter feed on the Pac-12 site
Cal tied it up with less than a minute to go.
Did we really just give up the equalizer with 4 seconds left? ****
Apparently we did. I went to eat dinner and missed everything.
I think it was 42 seconds
Match ended in a tie 1-1. Disappointing considering we should have won.
Not gonna complain about them getting a tie on the road against a top 10 team.
That's true. But when you have the game won and give up the tying score with 42 seconds left, it's a little disappointing.
Nice effort for the Buffs. We are competitive here finally.
CU is in 3rd place in the conference going into this weekends matches with USC and UCLA. A win last week at Cal would have been nice, but a draw on the road to Cal is still a good result. At this point only two more wins might be enough to get them into the NCAA tourney. USC on Friday could be one of them.
There's a "good" tie and a "bad" tie. You can't complain about a draw with a top 10 team on the road, but given the way it went down with Cal scoring off a boneheaded free kick in the final seconds, it goes down as a disappointment. You've got to capitalize. It would be like in football leading the #9 team on the road by a touchdown pre-1996 (when OT was instated) having a 4th down where they didn't convert turned into an automatic 1st down and letting them score a TD and get the tie at the last second. Disappointing in that regard. When you go that far, you've got to capitalize and get the "W".
I agree CVille. Even though we had more shots that you guys on goal, you should have closed it out.
