StatSeed is StatSheet's postseason projections for all of Division I, including the NCAA Tournament, National Invitation Tournament (NIT), College Basketball Invitational (CBI), and the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament (CIT). Read more about how StatSeed is calculated.
StatSheet now projects Colorado as a bubble team for the NCAA Tournament, but on the outside looking in. The Buffaloes are ranked #71 in the StatSheet StatRank with an 18-8 overall record and a 10-4 record in the Pac 12.
During the last four games, Colorado was solid in wins against Utah, Arizona State, and Oregon but also took on a loss against RPI #68 Arizona.
Colorado has a 3-7 record against the RPI Top 100 that includes an 0-3 record against the RPI Top 50 and an 0-1 record against AP ranked teams. While the Buffaloes have no quality wins, they're weighed down by a bad loss to RPI #121 UCLA.
The last four teams into the NCAA Tournament with at-large bids are Ole Miss (15-11, 5-7 SEC, StatRank #59), NC State (18-9, 7-5 ACC, StatRank #58), Washington (19-8, 12-3 Pac 12, StatRank #55), and South Florida (16-10, 9-4 Big East, StatRank #56).
The first four teams out are Arizona (19-9, 10-5 Pac 12, StatRank #81), Illinois (16-11, 5-9 Big Ten, StatRank #72), LSU (16-10, 6-6 SEC, StatRank #70), and Oregon (18-8, 9-5 Pac 12, StatRank #65).
The next four out are Brigham Young (23-6, 11-3 West Coast, StatRank #50), Colorado (18-8, 10-4 Pac 12, StatRank #73), Minnesota (17-10, 5-9 Big Ten, StatRank #71), and St. Joseph's (PA) (18-10, 8-5 A-10, StatRank #47).

Good to see us getting mentioned at this point. Other than that, it's pretty baffling that they have Ole Miss and South Florida getting in, with Illinois being right on the outside. No, no and no.

Who would have guessed we would ever see an article saying that CU's NCAA tourney chances are being weighed down by a loss to UCLA?? :wow:
