StatSeed is StatSheet's postseason projections for all of Division I, including the NCAA Tournament, National Invitation Tournament (NIT), College Basketball Invitational (CBI), and the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament (CIT). Read more about how StatSeed is calculated.
StatSheet now projects Colorado as an NCAA Tournament bubble team but likely out unless it improves. The Buffaloes are ranked #47 in the StatSheet StatRank with a 21-11 overall record and a 10-8 record in the Pac-12.
Over the last four games, Colorado chalked up wins against Oregon State and Oregon but also struggled with a loss against AP #18 Arizona and a bad loss to RPI #180 Oregon State.
Colorado is underwhelming against top competition, with a 9-9 record against the RPI Top 100 but a 3-5 record against the RPI Top 50 and a 1-4 record against AP ranked teams. While the Buffaloes have three quality wins including AP #18 Arizona, RPI #47 California, and RPI #17 Colorado State, they're dinged by two bad losses including RPI #180 Oregon State and RPI #168 Utah.
The last four teams into the NCAA Tournament with at-large bids are Baylor (18-14, 9-9 Big 12, StatRank #61), Boise State (21-10, 9-7 Mountain West, StatRank #41), Southern Miss (24-8, 12-4 Conference USA, StatRank #35), and Alabama (20-11, 12-6 SEC, StatRank #60).
The first four teams out are Colorado (21-11, 10-8 Pac-12, StatRank #47), Iowa (21-11, 9-9 Big Ten, StatRank #74), Virginia (21-10, 11-7 ACC, StatRank #62), and Wichita State (26-8, 12-6 Missouri Valley, StatRank #33).
    The next four out are Florida State (18-14, 9-9 ACC, StatRank #78), LSU (19-11, 9-9 SEC, StatRank #82), Maryland (21-11, 8-10 ACC, StatRank #79), and Oregon (24-8, 12-6 Pac-12, StatRank #49).
