StatSheet now projects Colorado as an NCAA Tournament bubble team but likely out unless it improves. The Buffaloes are ranked #47 in the StatSheet StatRank with a 21-11 overall record and a 10-8 record in the Pac-12.
Over the last four games, Colorado chalked up wins against Oregon State and Oregon but also struggled with a loss against AP #18 Arizona and a bad loss to RPI #180 Oregon State.
Colorado is underwhelming against top competition, with a 9-9 record against the RPI Top 100 but a 3-5 record against the RPI Top 50 and a 1-4 record against AP ranked teams. While the Buffaloes have three quality wins including AP #18 Arizona, RPI #47 California, and RPI #17 Colorado State, they're dinged by two bad losses including RPI #180 Oregon State and RPI #168 Utah.
The last four teams into the NCAA Tournament with at-large bids are Baylor (18-14, 9-9 Big 12, StatRank #61), Boise State (21-10, 9-7 Mountain West, StatRank #41), Southern Miss (24-8, 12-4 Conference USA, StatRank #35), and Alabama (20-11, 12-6 SEC, StatRank #60).
The first four teams out are Colorado (21-11, 10-8 Pac-12, StatRank #47), Iowa (21-11, 9-9 Big Ten, StatRank #74), Virginia (21-10, 11-7 ACC, StatRank #62), and Wichita State (26-8, 12-6 Missouri Valley, StatRank #33).
