I must break you.
The Situation is in.
in thanks for setting this up
Tough first week matchups. A bunch of people have already picked, which I think is insane.
In, at least for week 1.
yeah I just glanced at the matchups. Pretty damn tough. No one jumps out at me but I know one thing, I won't be picking against the Raiders in week one.
Chicago at home against the Lions might be the best bet.
that is the one i was looking at. i would like to save the bears/lions for later in the year though.
yeah this will probably where I lean although I think the Pats will beat the Bengals at home but I guess its a bit riskier.
I'm leaning that direction.
Lions at home are a lot tougher than on the road. Bears are a pretty good team during the first half of the year, usually.
yeah but, they are still the lions.
Why use your one and only Bears pick on a road game?
well, i dunno. i suppose it would depend on how the season plays out and the other options on that weekend. ****, i probably wont be around by then anyway.
but honestly, i will have to look into it. i will have some time tomorrow. 19 hours in bloomington. :slayer:
I will give this a try this year.
so, im batting around the idea of mijammi at buffalo.
Might not be a bad pick since Buffalo should be pretty lousy this year. I'm starting to think that the Giants over the panthers would be a solid pick.
where is that game at?
see. the panthers will probably suck. probably. and the giants are probably good but, i want to wait on them. save them for later. hopefully. i would say that is probably a safe pick.
what has me spooked is mijammi on the road. buffalo will be terrible but, damn. its on the road.
Who is Richard Slowleak?
After watching the first half of yesterday's Broncos/Lions game, I'm not so sure I want to count Detroit as a sure fire bottom feeder this year. They have a sick DL and some big time playmakers on Offense. I think there will be some teams that take them lightly and will pay the price. The Rams should still be terrible, though.
Get your picks in today.
damn cards! i picked them because i thought that was as safe as any this weekend. glad i got those fools off the list. i survived though. sam bradford is going to be pretty damn good, me thinks.
I was looking at that earlier and see that you did indeed survive, as did everyone except "The Situation". Most of us had either the Giants or the Titans, and couple others have the Charger-lucks.
This seemed like kind of a tough week, actually. Most of the good teams played good teams and the crap teams played crap teams. I ended up going with the Chuggers in KC tomorrow night. I kind of hope I'm out week 1...
They should've lost in KC in what seems like each of the past 3 or 4 seasons but then they ended up pulling one out of their asses. I picked KC in this one in my pick 'em league.
