ESPN takes a look at the BCS era in the Big 12. Colorado makes two appearances on the top 10 list for best games.

As far as the list of best players goes, Dat Nguyen should be much higher than #9.

No buff players in the top 10? Right.

From the Big 12 era, what Buff would you put on that list over who is there? Talib at 10 is really the only one I think shouldn't be there.

Chris Brown or Jordon Dizon are probably our two best players from the B12 era. But, I certainly wouldn't try to argue that CB needs to be on the list over Ricky or AP. Dizon was great, but if Derrick Johnson is at 8, it's not surprising he didn't make it. Maybe you could argue for Dan Graham as well. But, TEs aren't very exciting for lists like that. Ben Kelly was a decent CB and when you added in his return skills, he was pretty good. But top 10? I'm just not remembering any Buffs that absolutely needed to be on this list.

I think they put too many QBs on the list, but that always happens. You could probably take Bishop off. But, he really was very good. I don't see a Buff jumping on ahead of him, however. The Buffs have been relevant for most of the B12 era, but they usually did it without any transcendent talents on the roster.

I think it should have been higher. It was a curbstomping of an undefeated BCS #1 team.

    Consider the source......

On the bright side, the Buffs made the game top-10 twice - 2 wins. The fuskers made the list twice also - 2 loses.

Husker fans won't admit it, but that game started the demise of Nebraska football, which continues until today. That's a date you could put R.I.P. Nebraska football. It was our pleasure.

Yeah, Gurode was not only an awesome college player - he played as a freshman - but he's a two time pro-bowler in the NFL.

yeah, i think i could have done better than Talib at #10. As someone else mentioned, Roy Williams or Suh, at least. Josh Heupel? Sam Bradford, McCoy? Jeremy Maclin?
