The staff

Chip Brown on Austin Sports Talk again mentioned Bobby Kennedy as coming to CU as wide receivers coach while discussing the UT coaching soap opera. Even though only 3 coaches have officially "resigned or retired" they keep mentioned that there will be at least be 4 coach changes on the staff this off-season.

Bobby Kennedy continues to be discussed in a positive light down here and while Chipper says he is in line for "a couple or three jobs," the only school that is ever mentioned is "Colorado with new head coach Jon Embree."

I think it's just a matter of time before BK is on the staff.

hold up is that Kennedy is currently interviewing with a FCS school to be a HC. If he gets that job, he will take it. If he doesn't, he will be here.

I haven't seen his name mentioned, but I thought we might go after Ken Norton Jr for our DC.

Northern Colorado seems like a likely FCS school kennedy would be interviewing for... Also, nothing against Sean Embree as TE coach but we need more experience on the offensive coaching staff imo.

this
and RE: TE coach...what happened to tim brewster?

Also Kennedy was the head recruiter for Darrell Scott at UT... If I recall correctly he didn't have nice things to say about CU and Boulder???

Good point about UNC/Kennedy. Natural fit.

I don't worry about the experience of our offensive staff if we hire Harris and Marshall.

Haven't seen anyone mentioned for special teams coach... Can't wait for a significant upgrade in this department. Candidates, anyone?

If Kennedy does not come, the proposed staff takes a big hit.

EDIT: Embree better hope some of these rumored hires work out (i.e, his brother and Hagan). Might be hard to fire them in a couple years.

how about someone who can coach kickers...mitch berger?

I believe that both Jon Embree an Steve Marshall have coached kickers.

I'm hoping that our own "kicker77" gets a GA job to work with the CU specialists. I know he would love the opportunity.

I'd really prefer Hankwitz over Greg Brown as DC, that would make me really love this staff. Brown as DC is ok, but wouldn't really make me feel comfortable with the defense going into the year.

Not excited about Embree's brother being hired, but whatever. Hopefully he has learned some things from Jon over the years about recruiting.
