Just thought I would share.
You're a disgrace.
Yep, **** the doubters! Especially the corn****ers who seem to think they are gonna be untouchable for us after they had to have the longest field goal in their history to beat us on their home field. I think thats whats cracked me up the most this off season more than anything, Nebraska fans' sudden attitude that they are like the 90's again. GO BUFFS!
Some of those doubters are buff "fans". More than one in my section, hell in my tailgating group. Most think we had a few injuries and scoff. Only a few understand we were very thin at OL in August (as we have been for several tough years).
Then lost 4 probable starters out of 5 (Faatagi, MTM, Iltis and Miller) and the backup tackle (Tau). Time for paybacks boys!
**** um up **** um up go cu
How did that workour for ya?
(I followed the tag to this)
bb posted this on a friday afternoon. clearly he had already begun his friday afternoon ritual...
Maybe next August he can post a thread titled "This season is going to really suck" if he and the rest of us who actually believed this years are as wrong it will turn into an interesting year.
this thread, like some of the other ones from before the season that have been bumped to the top, aren't funny to me. they are depressing.
i find it depressing and sad that the optimism and hope displayed by some of our loyal fans (leash, bb, others) subjects them to ridicule now.
you say "poor them" and "i told you so."
i say "poor us" and "i'd just rather have a winner in boulder than be right about their failures."
yeah, that. I was that optimistic, and golly gee, I'll be that way again in 2011. :gobuffs:
These same optimistic, excited fans that have been deemed internet scum by the Head Coach, and branded as traitors by the Athletic Director for daring to wear blue. I find it sad too. Sad that a great fan like BB, and others (including myself) who shared his optimism are now somehow considered the enemy of this program, when in all reality they are the lifeblood.
**** 'em if they can't take a joke...
(for the record...i thought we were gonna pound the ball down everybody's throats this season...i have already apologized for that...)
Who has labeled fans like BB the enemy of the program? A lot of fans who think Hawkins should have been fired, are still fans, and not the enemy in my book. I don't think Bohn thinks they are enemies. There's a lot of folks who have been taking unfair shots at the program that I often wonder if they are fans or Nubs pretending to be Buff fans.
My personal optimism remains, because I still think CU can somehow get it done. But if they don't, I'll quickly switch into "new coach" mode and my optimism will return again!
I tried to warn you people....
and then... depression sets in
Very good point! :yeahthat:
I might add, that when the Buffs get back to their glory days (not certain when or with what coach) that there will be those of us who are going to continue to say things that will somehow label us as "troublemakers, doubters, enemy, etc" who truly only want the best for the program. :shakehands:
Miami can go **** himself as far as I'm concerned for bumping threads like this.
Meh - don't get too upset. I think we all felt pretty much the same as you did. I know I did. I was really looking forward to this being a breakout season. The schedule, talent, depth, everything pointed to a great year. That's probably what made this more difficult to stomach than anything. Had our expectations been lower, it wouldn't have hurt as much.
You need to go work out.
Rep. I really wonder which BCS I like less, the manic one or the depressed one.
I can't believe BB jinxed the whole season like that. Keep yourself under control next year, huh?
Sounds like Ross Perot...remember that?
Sorry, had a tropic thunder /robert downey jr moment.....
Strange, because I think those are actually a couple of BCSs better personalities..... :bounce:
Wow. Sorry your skin is so thin.
I didn't bump this thread with slighting you in mind. I have no hard on for you despite what you might think. Sorry to offend.
