The O-line improvement was nothing short of stellar. People are still whining that we don't seem to be rushing the ball. You do realize that we increased our rushing production from a week ago by 91 yard don't you? Especially against a much more athletic defense. We also out rushed the opposing team just so you know. The offense was off the charts improved over last week. Our defense only allowed 27 more yards of total offense against Cal than against UH and improved in the rushing D department holding them to a very respectable 100 yards rushing. The two major issues I saw were penalties, and kickoff coverage. Let's face it, Colorado beat themselves and I have every faith that that will not fly with Embree for long. Even if this team continues with moderate improvement over the remaining course of the season, which is very likely as the players and coaches continue to get on the same page, they are going to win some games. It's easy to want to throw in the towel for the season after such a heartbreaking loss, but I have a feeling that we may still end up making some noise this year. I'm not writing this team off yet, not by a long shot!
