Tim Deruyter: 2012 Colorado Coaching search profile

I won't be shocked if DeRuyter is the next coach. Personally would go with an ambitious young intelligent coach like Diaco, Mason, Wilcox and Smart that will give the program some street cred in recruiting because they have coached at big time programs or currently coaching at Big time programs. But DeRuyter fits all of the requirements Bohn head is looking for. He is the best option considering the limited search focus, and cost. He is better than Doeren and Jones.

I can´t find the original source but a Buffs fan on DP claims that NBC sports has info that if Jones doesn´t accept, we are offering DeRuyter.

I am totally fine with that as I have thought he would be a good fit from the beginning.

It´s been my feeling for a while that DeRuyter was our safety net.

I would have liked to see Deruyter spend a little more time with FSU recruiting and building the program, but a Deruyter + Stitt combo is still very appealing to me.

 Think I prefer MacIntyre but not by much. Would be plenty satisfied with this.

If we hire DeRuyter, it would be very similar to the Bronco's hire of John Fox. Which I like! I'd rather have a HC who's a DC instead of a OC.

Hell, he even sounds like FOX!

Talking about CU before he an his team demolished us. I've like this guy from the start and would love to have him. Plus, he's a "Jack Johnson/Jimmy Buffet kind of guy"!
