Stupid question time:
Went online. It says make checks out to the CU Foundation. Is this guaranteed to go toward athletics?
I'm not saying I won't contribute but what makes it time to contribute now? If they go out and hire Joel Klatt as HC based on his legacy at CU and deep ties into the Colorado football community then firing Embree will have been pointless. What have they done to prove they're done ****ing this up?
Short answer: yes
If you want a personal contact drop me a pm or reach out to Michael.Rorabaugh@cufund.org
I am not saying its time to contribute, I am saying if like me your said "Fire Embree, and i'll donate" the it's time to step up and do so.
Already sent an email to Bohn telling him I would contribute in the next 24 hours. I said I would and now I will be happy to send the cash.
I'm poor so I don't think I'll waste anyones time for the small amount I can afford.
Just wanted to be sure it was going toward the AD.
Firing Embree is close to a lose/lose situation. CU will catch flak for 'not giving enough time,' firing a minority coach, and possibly angering the former player consituency.
But it was the correct decision and took some balls to do it. There was no Hawkins/Barnett/Patton waffling this time.
What's the address?
Going to send half of my payment tomorrow or the next day and I'll send the rest when I see who we hire.
I'm setting them up through my employer so they get a full match.
Should I still contribute if I don't like absinthe?
Just sent an email to Bohn praising him for a tough but needed decision and let him know the check is in the mail now
going against Mac's wishes takes Balls at CU.
