true but not having happy feet in the hole and when making cuts like Nabors and some others is not a good thing.

He didn't look slow to me. He looked like a guy who has a long stride.

Yeah it didn't look like he was going full speed at anything compared to some of the other guys. All I really care about is whether he goes full speed at game time though.

Would have been nice to see a bit more hustle out of him imo

Yeah, I'd imagine not hustling is one of the things Hawk cant stand.

Maybe. Then again, the coaches may have told him to do the return at 1/2 speed, etc. Not uncommon for someone working thru an injury.

You guys need to relax. This drill is more footwork and technique than anything. Scott isn't lazy and he's not slow. Trust me, he isn't slow. :smile2:

I don't know if it's slow, or lazy, or if it just looks effortless to him...

Ok, no one brought it up, but if you saw the video on CUBUFFS.com, Cody was awful. He almost took the camera out twice. While I know it is only a tiny segment of only one practice, but Ballenger looked very good.

    This.

Anybody watching the olympics and sees Usain Bolt just cruise through a race against the best in the world sees how effortless it looks. I think the game comes naturally to D Scott.

I was talking more about the lack of hustle on that drill where they were taking a handoff and making a cut. Everyone else seemed to be going full speed and he looked to be loafing. Maybe it was just me...

I thought he had a slight groin injury he was nursing. I guess he could go full speed and tear it. That would then mean he was hustling and going all out. Correct??

He hasn't really stood out that much. At least imho.
