All the polls are irrelevant until the Selection Committee releases its first Top 25 on October 28th, but I want with USA Today over AP. They're pretty much the same anyway. AP liking Michigan State and East Carolina a little less is pretty much the only difference in the Top 20 and they have the same 25 teams.

Top 5 were only undefeateds entering this week other than Marshall. 2-loss teams in the poll entering this week were Stanford, Texas A&M, Clemson and USC.

    1. Mississippi State - DNP

    3. Ole Miss - Win vs Tennessee (34-3)
    4. Baylor - Loss @ West Virginia (27-41)
    5. Notre Dame - Loss @ #2 Florida State (27-31)
