The track and field team will split up between two events today when they will compete in the Joe Davies Open hosted by the Colorado School of Mines and the Rocky Mountain Classic hosted by Wyoming.

Joe Davies Open
Colorado School of Mines track and field released the performance list for this weekend's two-day Joe Davies Open at Steinhauer Fieldhouse in Golden.The meet begins at 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 20 with the men's weight throw.

  • Entrance is between Steinhauer Fieldhouse and Volk gym via Maple Street. The east and west facing Fieldhouse doors are emergency exits and handicap entrances only.
  • Spectator seating will be extremely limited, please plan accordingly.
  • Saturday admission is $5 (cash only). Students, children under 18 are free.
  • No food or drinks are allowed in the Fieldhouse, except water.
Institutions with student-athletes participating include Adams State, Central Wyoming College, Chadron State, Colorado, Colorado College, Colorado Colorado Springs, Colorado Mesa, Colorado School of Mines, Colorado State, Johnson & Wales (Colo.), MSU Denver, New Mexico Highlands, Northern Colorado, Sioux Falls and Western State.

Rocky Mountain Classic

The University of Wyoming men's and women's track and field teams look to make final adjustments for the conference championships on Friday when they host Air Force and Northern Colorado for the Rocky Mountain Classic on the Hager-LeBar Indoor Track in War Memorial Fieldhouse. Field events start at 3 p.m. MT and running events at 4:30 p.m. MT. Fans can follow live updates of the meet through Wyoming's official Twitter account @wyoathletics.
