For Megan Hodde, being an athletic trainer is a labor of love.
Actually getting honored for it was a bonus.
The head athletic trainer at Frederick High School, Hodde was recently named as one of three recipients of the Excellence in High School Athletic Training Award, which is given out each year by Denver Nuggets head trainer Jim Gillen.
