Tyler Hansen is going to make it tough on his Colorado teammates to take his job as the starting quarterback.

Love to hear it. This guy has been a trooper through ****** days, and he deserves his chance to show what he can do.

Am I right in assuming that Burnette is a pretty distant third? I have not read much positive stuff on him at all.

slow windup, accuracy sometimes goes haywire on shorter throws (into the dirt), but looks comfortable. Having issues with handoffs on sunday. Still looked like a project to me.

That's my read on it, too.

Stands tall in the pocket and has a nice arm. But he looked like he's in the midst of some significant mechanical and footwork changes. Once he gets it down, he's got a lot of potential.

Way too early to say that. But pretty much every team in the nation would take a significant step back if its starting QB went down. It's the nature of the beast.
