Understanding the new MBB rules for 2015-16

In addition to re-emphasizing the "points of emphasis", if offense retains ball off a missed shot, (an offensive rebound) the shot clock should re-set to 20 seconds, not the full 30---which anticipates 10 sec. to bring the ball up court.

That would add 5-7 offensive possessions a game.
