It's a fine line the University of Colorado navigates as it considers major facilities upgrades in and around Folsom Field.

Mike Holder talks straight and follows through.

Congrats to Ringo for getting an interview with someone who is living the dream.

Well, how about that? Success in athletics driving donations to academics. Go figure. Oh, wait that's right, the Boulder academic "elites" say that just doesn't happen - academics drives the bus.

I like B. From the perspective of historical integrety, the west side facade design should aspire to incorporate the six levels of opera style seating, space to identify the names of former CU greats, and the signature red terracota roof tiles.

I think A would bring in more money with the suites and club level kind of like the NFL stadiums, but I think B would fit in much nicer. Also if both endzone seating areas are closed off with seats, how do they run Ralphie. I guess this is just a preliminary drawing but just wondering.

I like B because it has more of that old-timey feel that Folsom exudes.... however, the sight lines would be pretty poor for some of those seats.

Looks to me that the only real difference between A and B is the extra seating on the upper section. Maybe I am looking at it wrong, but B looks like it has club and suite levels also.

As long as we have a football team that justifies the extra seating... personally, that is what I am looking forward to.

There will be a tunnel..... but in my opinion they should play it up and make a badass ralphie corral or something for her to come out of, rather than the temporary pen they put up now. It would be cool if it was an offshoot of the tunnel (under the stands) and had a glass/windowed wall that bordered the hall where the players come out of the locker rooms. When they come out, they walk right by ralphie on the way to the tunnel - and then when she is released she comes blazing out of some sweet over the top pen, and then players can follow.

That's a cool idea. I like the concept of a glassed in Ralphie Habitat with a with a thick floor to ceiling acrylic wall next to to the visiting team's tunnel. Instead of running ralphie into the trailer, she runs into the habitat. Let the visiting fans and players get sidetracked by the awesomeness of Ralphie during the whole game.

That is the coolest most original thought I have heard in regards to renovations, and its realistic. Could you imagine having a national game and the cameras panning to the Ralphie corral/ sweet window tunnel.

I definitely prefer option B. And the Ralphie habitat on the North End. That's an idea that's so cool, it needs to be repeated over and over again. It's time for Ralphie to see some of these games, don't you think?

The only thing I have some concerns about is the NE side. Where the upper deck ends right now seems like it has been cut off. I'd like to see it extend a little farther around.
