The defense played better just like they did in the first half against Washington. And for the whole game they never lost the effort, but the defense started giving up big running plays in the second half (it seemed like 15 yards an attempt for awhile). It did not seem like any big Utah adjustment but CU just not getting to the ball carrier. Once again the defense forced zero turnovers. The CU offense moved the ball for one of the few times this season. Hirschman can make throws that Webb can just not make. But he still makes bad decisions. I am baffled by the fact this coaching staff did not give the backups more meaningful snaps in some of those early Pac-12 games. Maybe Hirschman would of been more polished at this point in the season if he had taken more snaps. HIrschman actually grew the most of all the QBs. Jordan Webb should not see the field again unless there is some disaster at QB. The crowd was good all things considered and most stayed until the end. A sad season.
