VICTORY THREAD!!!

The written word is a dying art.

As is the career of Coach Briles.
So what's your point?

Plenty of artfully written words are out there. They just come with a URL instead of a rubber band wrap.

So nice to get that win yesterday. It's a different feeling watching the games this year. I get more comfortable when we have a lead, instead of more anxious like in years past.
I love the grit in the team, it is true, the mentality of the team has changed.

I also love that Bobo is coming to shine. His freshman year he showed so much highlight reel potential and then went dormant for a while. He seems to be erupting now.

Montez, geez, I didn't expect that. I always thought his mechanics could lead to some fumbles on his part, but he had pretty good protection and the ability to scramble to make some nice plays. He's got some confidence in himself, and now so does everyone else.

I also love that we are doing this well and still have room to improve, it's going to be a fun year, and I am looking forward to the warm weather bowl game.

Lastly, respect to the Oregon fan base, while Helfrich seemed to push some of the fault on the officials and play reviews, the fans seem to mostly agree that it was a spectacular touchdown catch and are giving CU credit instead of blaming the refs for the loss.

Next up!

I love the genuine emotion from our coaches and players that comes through this ESPN column. I feel so ****ing happy right now. http://www.espn.com/blog/pac12/post/_/id/104136/colorado-turns-corner-in-win-over-ducks

“It’s hard to act like you’ve been there,” MacIntyre said, “when you haven’t been there.”

Wow Nik ... you're really nailing with your links today. Great well-written and compelling article. And I am officially in love with Chantel Jennings ... she just doesn't know it yet. :)
