Volleyball at #17 UCLA

Way to go Buffs!!! What a shock. I'm so glad for this team. NCAA tourney here we come!!

USC had one player that we absolutely could not handle. And in the past six matches with them, they have defeated us 18-0. Before the weekend, playing two on the road against ranked teams, I would have been happy with a split. After the weekend playing two on the road against ranked teams, I AM happy with a split.

Lots of matches still in front of us. If we can somehow get a split against Furd & Cal this week, we're in good position to go on a run with winnable road matches and a lot of home matches that follow.

Buffs are still receiving votes in this week's poll. NCAA RPI rankings has them ahead of Cal. Hoping they can get Cal at home and one never knows on their home court. They just might beat Stanford.

I will be very disappointed if the Buffs don't beat Cal this Sunday. As for Stanford on Friday ... I plan to just enjoy what I hope will be a good match and leave my voice behind yelling for the Buffs.
