The Buffs Volleyball Team (17-12, 9-10) is back in action today at 3pm for their final game of the regular season when they travel to Los Angeles to face #7 USC (25-5, 15-4). The Buffs are coming off of a big 5 set win over Utah, while USC has swept their last 3 matches. While the Buffs are on the bubble for an NCAA tournament birth, a win here would probably guarantee them a spot. The match is not televised, but will be shown for free online. Here is a preview from cubuffs.com:
USC is currently ranked seventh in the latest AVCA Division I Coaches Poll and has recorded a 24-5 record, which includes a 14-4 mark in the conference that is good for third in the standings. The Trojans recorded a sweep of Arizona and Arizona State last weekend at home in the Galen Center where they are 10-1 this season.

The Trojans lead the conference this year with 14.80 kills per set. Samantha Brico has a team-high 3.42 kills per set, which is ninth in the league, and Ebony Nwanebu averages 3.35 kills per set. USC is attacking at the third best hitting efficiency in the Pac-12 at .277. Alexis Olgard is third in the league (.432) and Hannah Schraer is ninth (.338). The Trojans have been running a 6-2 this year with Haley Crone and Alice Pizzasegola sharing the duties. Crone is averaging 6.48 assists per set and Pizzasegola is handing out 5.74 assists per set.

Defensively, Natalie Hagglund leads the Pac-12 with 5.41 digs per set and Brico adds 2.74 digs per set. Brico also has the best serve in the country as she has recorded 0.69 aces per set. Olgard leads the Trojans at the net with 1.29 blocks per set and Schraer adds 1.03 blocks per set.
USC has won all of the previous seven meetings against CU, including three at the Galen Center.
