It's been a struggle, but they're finding a way to win. Now 8-2 on the year.

Two game left in the non-conference. 10-2 would give us a reasonable shot at having a winning season this year going into the 20-game Pac-12 schedule.

That match was way harder than it should have been. Way too many errors by the Buffs ...... hitting errors, serve errors, serve receive errors, etc. They really are missing Kerra's presence on the court.... her passing, and her steadying influence as a good 6 rotation player ... as much as they are missing her offensive contributions. The offensive contributions are proving easier to replace than her experience and maturity on the court. This team needs to learn how to stop giving up big runs to their opponent. They need to learn how to finish when they are ahead and close to winning.

All that said, they did manage to pull it out with some good plays. Most of the time they are playing with only 2 juniors and the rest sophs and frosh in the active 10 or 11 player rotation. If some of the young players can grow up quick, we have a chance to see some improvements over last years conference season. If not, I'm afraid we are in for another long and painful conference season.
