The Buffs will be competing in the Candlewood Suites Invitational in Syracuse, NY starting tomorrow morning at 6:30 am MT versus Stony Brook University (2-1) out of the America East. I'm on the east coast so I may be up and if I am I'll do play-by-play.

Strange starting line-ups...3 freshmen, no Edelman, no Lindow, no T Simpson. Guess coach figures to get others playing time and that they should be able to win anyway. The strategy worked OK in game 1, not looking so good so far in game 2. I know that Edelman has had some back issues and the coaches didn't like to have her warm up & play more than once in a day so maybe that is still factor also.
 
Also looks like Kerra having some problems ... on serve receive she has been aced a couple times and she has a bunch of hitting errors. Too early in the morning for her?? Coach has now put Edelman in.

As far as Edelman, maybe they thought it was an easy enough match that they could sit her for a while
 
Does Edelman make a difference....DUH!! Down by 8 at 7 - 15 when she comes in; up 23 - 20 now but it looks like stats have stopped again.
