Washington State @ CU

This may not be the "positive" example we want to pin our hopes on.

You mean starting 14-2 with a top 15 ranking wasn't "positive"? Spencer getting injured shouldn't cloud the fact, that team was good. Damn good. It was good in a year that people thought we would take a big step back because of Dre leaving.

Huge thank you to @absinthe for the tickets! So much wrong with that game, but I still can't wipe this **** eating grin off my face. Yes - I ate **** for breakfast.

Team is going to be pretty average next year without Scott...desperation win at home versus the worst team in the PAC?
As Shldr2shldr said, it will be a year of transition, but I actually think it is very likely the team next year will be vastly improved in many ways. Peters seems to be more than the real deal and I am certain White is. I see next year as losing a stud post and gaining to stud scorers capable of playing the 1-3.

As for the game last night. It was very hard to watch, but I fell asleep happy with the fight the team finally found after King's shot.
Oh and I was thankful of a few things, including:
1. GMFK
2. A late start so that most east coasters didn't see anything or only saw the first half.
3. ESPN highlight moments.
4. Selection Sunday isn't this weekend.
5. One more year of Gordon, two more years of King...nice pair to keep building on.
6. The Washington State coach.

If SS was this weekend, CU would be an 8 seed according to the NCAA Mock Selection so...

I never trust those mock selections, seen teams projected 9 and 10 seeds left out entirely. Though with the upcoming schedule (which looks a bit daunting) maybe I should retract #4.

Would have loved to watch the game but a 10:30 tipoff was a little absurd. Would have been well past one in the morning before this one ended on the east coast.

It was a 10:00 p.m. tipoff and it finished about 12:30 on the east coast. Just sayin' . . .

I want to know which one of you threw that object onto the court last night. Unless there were two objects thrown (only noticed one in person), it was nowhere near that POS WSU coach, yet he claimed that it hit him on the head.

He just can't get out of the habit of playing the refs.
