Still bothers me that CU doesn't have a wrestling program.

Understand the budget and the Title IX situation but we should not only have a wrestling program but should have a good one.

Colorado for a small state produces a ton of wrestling talent. You could build the core of a solid team with CO kids and fill out with kids from other states. We wouldn't have to build a bunch of expensive new facilities for it and could have a solid non-conference schedule without an excessive amount of travel expense

We were top ten when the program was axed.
 
Perhaps there is a compromise to be made. Get rid of the poor women's basketball team and introduce a women's wrestling team. Best of both worlds.

Good chance that this would be a money making move.
 
It doesn't seem right for any of the former Big 8 schools to not have a wrestling program. I think this is something that could get the top in-state players and succeed very soon after we start sponsoring it.
