You know how really weak schools come to play major powerhouse college football teams during the non-conference portion of the year? (For example, Charleston Southern came to Gainesville to play Florida 2 weeks ago, Eastern Washington came to Boulder last year, etc). These schools get paid a huge amount of money to be the other team's doormat/warm-up game(s).
Considering the obvious fact that the CU AD is hurting for $, and inevitably will not be able to get rid of this inept coach because of it, why not at least profit from his inability to coach or put our best talent on the field.
There is no doubt we will be the worst team in the Big XII - there is no doubt we'll be in the bottom 100 of all D-1 programs. Why doesn't Bohn just schedule games with teams that will mop the floor with us, but at least pay us good money to do it? Then, at least there'd be something positive coming out of what Dan Talkins has turned our program into...and who knows, maybe after a few years of getting beaten down, we'd have enough money in the bank to go out and hire a competent coach
