This has been an absolutely horrendous shooting day for the Buffs so far.

However, they've been battling and have dominated the rebounding and played good defense. UCLA, with a short bench, looks like they might get into some trouble with fouls today.

Down 15-17 with 4 minutes left in the 1st half.
 
Chucky with a great close to the half. Steal & breakaway layup with 10 seconds left, drew an offensive foul (#3) on one of UCLA's best players with 4 seconds left, and then hit a pull-up jumper from about 20 feet at the buzzer.

CU leads 24-23 at halftime.
 
UCLA two starters with 3 fouls and another two with 2. If we keep the pressure up, we should win this in the 2nd half.
 
41-39 Buffs with 5:09 left.

If we weren't 7/17 from the ft line, we'd have a nice cushion right now.
 
Down 48-55 with 1:30 left. Our offense has been disgusting.

Seriously. The team should be ashamed of their performance today. 24 turnovers.
 
I just watched a couple minutes of this game in between the Miami--Chicago game. Pretty terrible basketball.
 
The Bruins were tired, short-handed, away from home, at altitude with one of their starters fouled out...and still beat us...Horrible performance by the Buffs in front of their best home crowd of the season. It was like the Buffs were shooting into one of those football shaped carnival baskets the whole game. Not to mention all the incredibly stupid turnovers. That was very hard to watch. I'm not usually this hard on them but this was inexcusable.
 
U-G-L-Y game! Considering how many shots they missed and how many free throws they missed and how many turnovers they had, it was kind of amazing that they were even in the game, And yet they were up 2 with a chance to win it with under 1 minute left in regulation. Their defense was what kept them in this but, appropriately, the possession with llike 56 seconds to go ended with the Buffs turning the ball over yet again while they were trying to run some clock before going for thier shot. They just seemed totally deflated in OT while UCLA seemed re-energized. This was a win that got away. Not good.
