Week 10 Other Games

Really good games today.

#2 Syracuse looks absolutely nasty against North Carolina so far. Tar Heels came out on fire, the Orange kept it within range, and then exploded. Cuse up 34-22 at halftime. ESPN

Over on ESPNU, #9 Iowa State is at Oklahoma and tied at 39 at the half.

Notre Dame is following up its win over Duke with stuggles at Georgia Tech, down 26-35 late in the 1st.

Indiana in danger at Penn State, down 27-37 late in the 1st. BTN

#19 UMass is hosting a tough St. Bonaventure team and is down 6-9 at 7 minutes in. NBCS

At 11am, we've got #8 Villanova at St. John's in a classic rivalry game. FS1

#25 KSU is at #18 KU at 12 on ESPN.

Seton Hall (10-6) is at Marguette (9-7) at 12 on FSN in an early bubble matchup.

#5 Michigan State hosts Minnesota (13-3) at 12:15 on BTN.

#14 Kentucky plays at Vandy at 1:30 on CBS.

Ole Miss (10-4) plays at Miss State (10-4) at 2pm on ESPNU in a good rivalry game with bubble implications.

Virginia (11-4) is at NC State (11-4) at 3pm on ESPN2 in another bubble watch game.

Georgetown (10-4) is at Butler (10-5) at 5pm in a bubble game on FS1.

Cal is at Oregon State at 6pm on ESPNU.

Lots of other good games today, but they're mostly on ESPN3. College hoops is starting to heat up. Buffs aren't even playing and I'm watching basketball all day -- even forgot there were NFL playoff games on tv.

I typed all of the above and missed that #10 Florida is just tipping off at Arkansas (11-3) on ESPN2.

St. Louis (15-2) just won at Dayton (12-4). Watch out for the Billikens. Their 2 losses are to Wisconsin and Wichita State by a combined 11 points. Should be ranked.

#2 Syracuse handled North Carolina, 57-45.

Oklahoma over #9 Iowa State, 87-82.

Georgia Tech over Notre Dame, 74-69.

Pitt destroyed Wake Forest, 80-65. (Wasn't that close.)

Lowly Boston College won at VA Tech, 62-59. (I bring it up only to bitch again about how stupid it was to fire Seth Greenberg).

#19 UMass down by double digits to the Bonnies about halfway through the 2nd.

#8 Villanova down at St. John's at the half, 31-33.

#10 Florida down 35-36 at Arkansas at the half.

Indiana trying to survive at Penn State. 73-72 with 58 seconds left.

#16 Duke just tipped off at Clemson on ROOT.

Indiana came back from 15 down in the 1st half to beat PSU by 3.

UMass also came back, beating St. Bonaventure by 5.

Villanova / St. John's and Florida / Arkansas are in battles late in the 2nd half.

Syracuse is really good. Them and Arizona would be a great game. Oh and UNC can't shoot the 3 for **** lol.

Florida held on to win at Arky, 84-82 in OT.

Nova closed strong to win at St. John's, 74-67.

Duke up by 2 at Clemson with about 10 minutes left.

Kansas up by 19 on KSU with 9 and change to play.

Minnesota up 3 at Michigan State with 12:15 left.

#16 Duke loses to Clemson, 72-59.

Minnesota down 4 at #5 Michigan State with 3:33 to play. BTN

#21 Mizzou up by 1 at Auburn with 4:44 left.

If there is a year to make a run in the tourney, this may be it. I haven't seen a team that is dominant. Syracuse and Arizona are good. We'll see Arizona obviously. It's all about matchups but CU is better than a lot of teams I've watched.

#21 Missouri survived at Auburn, 71-69. Controversial no-call on a Mizzou travel with under a second left that should have given Auburn another shot.

Kansas and Baylor romped. Okie State down early to WVA. Didn't OSU lose a couple of guys this week?

Anyway, good day for the RPI.

Impressive OT from Sparty, outscoring Minnesota 16-4 for the win.

Georgia handling Alabama easily so far. Alabama looks bad on paper, but they've played a brutal schedule. They could end up a Top 100 RPI team.

UVA looks like they are going to challenge in the ACC. Won on the road at NC State today... 76-45. It wasn't really that close. They've got Duke on Monday night. Go UVA!

Crazy week for the top 25. Could set up nicely if the Buffs come out of Seattle with a win tomorrow.

#12 Louisville dropped a game to #24 Memphis.
#9 Iowa State dropped a game to unranked Oklahoma
#16 Duke loses to unranked Clemson
#17 Oregon loses to unranked Cal..

Wichita State down early to unranked Missouri State.
