Hate to admit it, but Sparkles looks like the real deal.

He won at CSU with a lot less resources than he has at Florida.

Lots of SEC teams in transition, he picked a good time to try to bring Florida back.

How long till Wyoming goes to FCS.

Losing today to Appalachian State, an FCS school. They may not win a game this year.
Real question if they can generate enough revenue and fan support to remain at the BCS level even if they were winning, and winning rarely comes when you don't have money to invest.

They are FBS now. Moved up last year to the Sun Belt.

Higgins excepted this years group doesn't match up with the the talent that they have lost the last couple years.

They are not one of those programs that just reloads, when they have NFL type talent it is because they got lucky and somebody developed past expectations.

Sparkles was a better coach than Bobo but he also got out at the right time.

Thumpkin talked about taking bad angles. That is going to be a huge issue when we play such a weak OOC schedule. Going from Nichols to Oregon was a big time adjustment. I hope they can adjust before saturday because ASU has some athletes as well.

It's equally embarrassing going from fast to slow. Our defenders just go flying by, like, five yards in front of the ball carrier, and just crash into the sidelines.
