Who's fired first, Hawkins or McDaniels?

Hawkins gone by end of November, McDaniels will be here at least until there is some sort of labor peace and a new CBA in the NFL. Bowlen won't pay a head coach unless he is working during labor strife. Plus, at this point, the Broncos are dumping salary....Champ Bailey won't be here anymore in my opinion after this season and I don't think we have seen the bottom yet of their drop.

I'm glad McD didn't play Tebow. As much as I wanted to see him, he was going to get abused on that field. Orton was getting knocked all over the place. Our O-line looked horrible. I think Tebow may have come out of his garbage time injured.

So you want Tebow to come in during a game with no experience? with a win on the line and the o-line playing like crap? I didn't think he would win the game for us, but he needs to get used to the speed of the game.

I think he didn't play Tebow because he already knows that Tebow can't play. Playing him causes one of two things, both negative:

A. Tebow completes a few passes, maybe scrambles for a 1st down or two, and McDaniels has a QB controversy on his hands despite Orton being worlds better.

B. Tebow is exposed and McDaniels takes more heat for missing so badly on a 1st round pick he gave so much away to get.

I do not think he played Tebow because he was of the opinion that the starters created the crap pile that was the game and they could finish it. Players gave up, did not paly hard and looked completely disinterested. Not saying that should not be on the coach, it should. My guess is he thought you guys are not trying well you can take what this effort is delivering. I am not letting you off of the field after this effort.

Your points make sense. I am just trying to believe that Tebow can still be good.

And in regards to tante, he definitely needs game experience. I just thought he would have been put in the fire in that game. It looked like Cal's defense against CU this year.
