Terror was on the field as a nickel back a couple times against CSU as well. I guess he's our best option. I actually like the way he plays. Kid's got a lot to learn though.
I think I would rather play more base 3-4 and rush the QB. Is Smith our best option back there? I was starting to wonder if we might let Harlos get some time or did we decide to RS him?
I like him a lot except when he's running into Speedy on punt returns.
Ugh, there was so much wrong with that play. 1) ****** blocking. 2) ****** decision to try and catch the ball. 3) ****** attempt at a catch. 4) ****** coaching decision to put speedy back there with a hurt shoulder. 5) ****** coachign decision to try a return when we were gonna get pinned back deep no matter what. UBGH.
I'm pretty sure Harlos has played already. I think he's more of a run stopper than a coverage guy, though. If it's not Terror, then who? Vigo, Morten? I saw a bit too much of Major chasing TEs and RBs in coverage on Saturday, I think an extra DB is needed against Wazzu.
Yep, that play was FUBAR from the beginning. Why even have a return man back in that situation?
It's important not to project all of the prior regime's failings on this staff & team. Embo & co. is not -19 on the road. He's 1-3 overall, that's it.
Embree and co are 0-2 on the road with the exact same problems as the previous staff on the road. That is pretty ******.
I hear ya, and agree. We're going to have to eat this plate of **** for this season and hopefully not too much longer. I'm saying this as much for me as everyone else, Embo is 1-3 and he's not Hawk. Serenity now, this last game was brutal.
