Why were people negative on the OL this week?

I heard a number of radio callers and read a ton of posts this week that blasted our offensive line. Not just in a general way, either, but in reaction to the performance against Hawaii.

We had 2 rushers go over 100 yards and didn't allow a sack.

What am I missing?

*yawn*

Let the O-Line feel good about themselves when they can do it against real competition. Pushing around a tired Hawaii team in the second half doesn't mean a whole hell of a lot. And their pass blocking still sucked.

Taking anything from the O-Line and team in general for that second half performance is like saying the Broncos are superbowl contenders for beating Mullen in a scrimmage.

Show up against a team that's not ranked in the bottom 10 D1 schools for more than a half, that's all.
