The Buffs soccer team kicks off the fall sports season on Friday at 4pm when they host CSU in their opening match of the Colorado Cup. The Pac-12 Network will be showing the match live on tv, as well as, streaming online. This will be the first meeting between the two teams as the Rams went 2-13-3 in their first season last year. I will try to do a play by play if I can. The Buffs will unveil their 2013 NCAA Sweet 16 banner prior to kickoff on Friday, Aug. 22. The first 500 fans in attendance will receive a commemorative pennant.

No one does it better than CU Video. I love how that highlights the physicality of the team. The tough chicks play soccer.

back and forth at midfield with both teams in the first 2 minutes. CSU is the first team to have any kind of attack but nothing comes from it.

Foul on the Buffs and the ball goes back to CSU. Steal by the Buffs but looks like offsides.

Brie Hooks gets fouled and free kick goes wide. The Buffs are starting to control the ball about 6 minutes in.

Buffs with a possible chance but go offsides but get the ball right back

It's been a while since CSU has had possession on the Buffs side of the field

Bolyard gives away an easy pass on what would probably have been a goal

Darcy Jerman with the first real shot of the match and just over the crossbar

CSU on the attack and the Buffs defender knocks it away for CSU corner.

CSU with a shot and an easy block by the defender. This is the most offense that the Rams have had all match.

Krauser with a big opportunity but couldn't get anything on the shot and an easy save
