Last week he goes for two on a play where everybody, EVERYBODY knows you kick the XP. Today he puts Goodman back in to kick a crucial 4th quarter FG when he knows Goodman can't handle the duties. Goodman proceeds to miss again, and Tech marches down the field for a tying score.
 
I was more upset that we had a 1st and 5 in the 4th quarter after a penalty, in their zone inside the 20. We decided to go for 3 consecutive throws, all incomplete which led to the field goal attempt.

The emotional impact of the missed kick was far more serious then 3 missed passes. Time after time after time this team has had momentum killed by missed Goodman kicks. Result today? 7 point lead evaporates with 10 unanswered points and the first ever Texas Tech win in Boulder.
